Breakthrough

"Breakthrough", is a painting of a woman leaning against a shattered pane of glass. It depicts the struggle to find peace when peace has been shattered by life's circumstances. Hope is evident in the image of the rising sun emerging from the shattered glass offering light at the end of the tunnel. The subject has found peace even amidst the chaos.
