Peace in the Valley

"Peace in the Valley", is inspired by the beautiful reflections in the landscape. Monet loved to paint the water lilies his work was inspired by the play of light and reflections and colors in the landscape. I have always admired Monet's work and there are elements of inspiration from Monet in some of my work. This painting is mixed media on cotton gallery wrapped canvas. The mark making technique in the grasses and water was achieved using markers, acrylic and oil paint, crayons and inks. Please be aware to check the size example room is not to scale. This painting measures 36" x18"  and comes ready to hang.
