Immersed in Velvet

Immersed in velvet was inspired by the first blooms of the light and dark purple Iris found in my garden in spring. The texture of the flowers looks and feels light a deep rich velvet. The viewer can feel the softness and harmony and the colors. This little study is painted on 300 GSM water color paper and is framed in a white matt board with a gold trim. Measures 10" x 8" and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
