Heavens Dew

"Heavens Dew". It is every little girls dream to own a horse, ride a horse there is something special even heavenly as you watch the interaction between horse and rider. The horse is intuitive and senses the emotion and trust of their rider and it responds accordingly. Our little grand-daughter Isla's first experience riding a horse was the inspiration for this painting.

The title for this painting came clearly one morning as I was in quite meditation. Dew is a fine rain that falls gently on the earth morning and evening it is nourishing. There is a gentleness and stillness between horse and rider that sometimes transcends the known; the communication is unique it is nourishing. Is this your experience riding a horse?
