My happy place

This painting is inspired by the feeling of being totally immersed in flowers and in the garden. I wanted to convey the peace, happiness and contentment experienced when walking in a beautiful garden, it might be yours or someone else's.

I have called this painting "My Happy Place," because over the years as I have designed and created my own gardens I have found that being absorbed in this creative process and watching the plants and flowers grow and change through the seasons. I experienced the kind of healing, wonder and peace and contentment that made all my worries and cares dissapear.
